Abandoned Sanitarium in Sweden.

A type of hospital that was used to isolate and treat patients with TB. Often the last stop before death. It was built in 1913, served later as a regular hospital and was discontinued only in 1995 according to the facts I found.
The place must have been thoroughly vandalized in recent years, when I seen the photos from 2007 in which the place looks in comparison clean and well preserved.

"Sanatorium environment inspired many talented patients to literary works. Throughout, the tone is pessimistic and negative, and conveys the patient's feeling of being secluded from the world. Sanatorium environment affected the works of both Edith, Harriet Löwenhjelm, Olof Lagercrantz and Beryl Bainbridge."

The music is "Dark Passenger" from "The Deer Tracks' which I saw a wonderful concert the day after I visited Broby. It was mainly their music that was played during the editing of the images so it seemed fitting to use it in the slideshow.
