Day of the dead angel tattoo

Designconcept by me, Tattoo by the great Pecka at Zoi tattoo in Malmö, Sweden.

Took 2 and a half sitting, about 12 hours.

The text reads "Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit"
Translates into.
""Neither is there anyone who loves grief/pain itself since it is grief/pain and thus wants to obtain it"
It´s a quote by roman statesman cicero. Its the origin of whats called Lorem ipsum, placeholder text for graphical design and puplishing.

The symbols are from the key of solomon, probaly 14th 15th century are a symbols of protection.

The angel have the mexican traditional facepaint of dia de los muertos, day of the dead.

And theres a little ankh cross on the forehead
